Teach-Ins

Every month, following our executive committee meeting (which is open to all), we host a teach-in on some area of single payer activism. The teach-in begins at 10:30am on the second Saturday of each month and lasts 90 minutes. They are held at 2258 22nd St, Santa Monica, 90405. We use the term teach-in rather than seminar because the events are informal and oriented toward action. An overarching theme of our chapter is empowering activists. Hence, our teach-ins are meant to be practical, participatory, and interactive with the hope that some attendees will eventually host their own teach-in.
