March Action Alert: Help us build our CalSPAN facebook network!

Welcome to CalSPAN! PNHP California is piloting a district by district legislative advocacy network called California Single Payer Advocacy Network. We believe this can become a coalition of pro single payer organizations (Healthcare For All, Physicians for a National Health Program California, Progressive Democrats of America, and more) dedicated to educating our legislators on the need for an improved Medicare For All healthcare system. Over the next year, we will create a district by district network of single payer activists in every legislative district in California. We are starting with California's assembly districts. We have developed a spreadsheet on our website which lists all the assembly districts. We are creating facebook pages for each of these districts which will allow our members and our coalition members to team build at the district level, share information about their legislator's positions on Medicare For All and plan legislative visits, public education events and media outreach.

If you are interested here's what to do:

1. Identify your assembly district here.

2. Look on the spreadsheet to see if there is a hyperlink to a facebook page.

3. If no hyperlink, contact Geoff White to join the district network and begin building your district facebook page.

4. If there is a hyperlink, go to the Facebook page, and join your district team.

5. Once you have a facebook page, the fun begins! You can invite your friends to join you, post photos and reports about your team's activism, and plan events to visit your legislator, educate the public and do media outreach.
